The Real Cost
Sending someone from your crew to the supply house can feel free. It isn't. Every run takes a paid employee off the job for at least an hour, counting the drive there, the wait at the counter and the drive back.
The wage is only part of it. While your employee is on the road, the work you'd normally bill for isn't getting done. That lost production is the cost most crews never count.
